Programmer Analyst

Job Number # VS0006, # VS0007 Location Cerritos, California. Responsibilities Develop software (hands on code development) to meet key business objectives. Gathers business requirements and development conceptual design and technical design. Evaluate alternative solutions and recommends solution that best meets the need of business. Translates user requirements into overall solution architecture for complex technical solutions. Recognizes, identifies and documents potential areas where existing business process require change, or where new processes need to be developed and make recommendations in these areas. Works independently and resolves complex problems with limited supervision. Conducts peer review of other developers to ensure standards and quality. Recommends schedules and performs software improvement and updates. Conduct studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Defines and plans software releases in accordance with other software applications. Design, Develop, Test, Configure, Deploy and Maintenance of Web related applications / Client Server application / Data Warehouse solutions. Follow and promote Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes. Work in Agile Scrum process and create user design documents. Experience on different web technologies (like .NET, JAVA, PHP), application frameworks, servers and databases. Must be willing to travel and relocate for short periods of time as needed. Qualification Bachelor's or Masters in Engineering, Computers or Science with at least 6 years of relevant industry experience.
